“Can get quite busy but always happy to help. Same day Prescriptions aren't a problem, you can sit and wait while they are prepped. Max the Pharmacy Manager is usually on hand to give any health advice, if needed and is always happy to help. Best Pharmacy in the area by a long way! P.S. Watched out for over zealous traffic wardens who are only too keen to hand out any tickets, no matter how long you are parked there. Usually okay but be wary of them slapping a PCN on your vehicle.”

“We have my husband’s meds made up into 28 day blister packs as he is on a lot of meds and it is too complicated for us to feel confident dealing with them. Tower Court are also massively helpful when any problems occur such as gp or consultant changing meds mid way through a pack. I go into pharmacy worried sick that I can’t deal with complex changes and they sort it all calmly and efficiently and send me on my way a much relieved old lady. Thank you Tower Court Pharmacy especially Mia.”

“I visited this pharmacy once the one time I visited York a few months ago. I can’t remember her name but the pharmacist/pharmacy assistant on the counter had a good (but not inappropriate) sense of humour as I came in with a huge haematoma on my arm and was unsure what to do as it wasn’t painful it was just huge and lumpy. When she saw it she was just like “Wow. What is that?! Has a snake poisoned you!” As it was literally just the biggest and weirdest thing on my arm that had come from a bad reaction to a cannula that had been in my arm the previous week in an inpatient stay. She was very helpful recommending some specific products to ease the swelling but not to use ibuprofen gel as even though it’s an anti inflammatory it could also cause it to bleed and hence swell more (I would have by default have just used ibuprofen!). It was a much nicer experience than some of the nurses and doctors I had seen earlier that day at minor injuries who had basically just been like “just leave it alone. You’ll be fine” whilst ignoring the discomfort I was in and just sending me away.I am now moving to York and will definitely be making this my go-to pharmacy for my repeat meds :)”
