“Been here today, very pleasant experience. Easier to park and friendly staff, Sutton Road branch impossible to get in to. Maybe 8 miles from our house but prefer Beverley for shopping.”

“Great service and food there for lunch today. They were busy but service was quick. Food outstanding as usual. We picked up a few cakes from the deli shop downstairs and were really impressed with the selection of foods you have there. Will try the butchery next time. Thanks!”

“Good variety of groceries, but it has still not gone back to pre hacking levels. Weeks later, still no extra strong tea bags. There is no excuse with computer ordering systems.”

“This Tesco has a good range of food and cleaning products together with a limited range of household items for the bathroom and kitchen such as pans, towels, electrical goods etc
There is a small but well stocked clothing area for men, women and children so handy for school uniform etc
Like many Tesco stores the wet fish counter and deli counters were replaced by prepacked deli items and a sushi bar.
There are some bargains to be had, but generally only if you have a Tesco Cubcard-it’s easy to be caught out by the dual pricing if you are not a regular Tesco customer.?”

“Came in with my dad yesterday, he has severe mobility issues and as we were making our way through Vicky (with a C) came over and kindly offered us the use of a wheelchair! She was very helpful and polite, and even after we were done shopping she helped us get sorted

She went above and beyond in helping us and that's a kindness we won't forget, thank you Vicky! :)”

“Small store but has everything you need during the week. Chilled food and drink, veg, tinned food, plenty of drinks including alcohol, health care products, toiletries, frozen aisle full of food, 88 vape section. Good deals and well priced. Parking available in the Saturday market area.”

“Morrisons is always good value and ample choice. Aisles are wide so plenty of room for stopping to browse items without feeling you are blocking another shopper wishing to get past. There is usually a very good choice of meats and fish on the butchery counter, with offers on weekly. The fruit and veg are always fresh and tasty. Never any issue with parking.”

“Costcutter in Walkington is a great village shop. They carry everything you could need and there is a post office there too. The staff are always helpful and friendly”

“Really good local shop open 07:00 to 20.00 7 dpw. Opens Bank Holiday. Closed Christmas Day. Stocks a good range of groceries and fresh meat and produce, much of which is locally sourced. They are also a Post Office and Newsagent. Prices are reasonable Staff are friendly and helpful. The shop can sometimes be a bit congested, but I think this is because of its popularity. Anyone who lives in Cherry Burton would recommend this store. Anyone passing through would do well to try it.”
