“Good selection of food at reasonable, sometimes very low, prices. The xsell range is particularly good value. They tend to get a bulk buy of stuff on occasion, which goes out for low price and when it's gone it's gone. Good cheap freezer shop .”

“It may be a small pharmacy but they're big on customer service. Everyone is very pleasant and helpful. The turn-around times on electronic prescriptions puts larger pharmacies to shame. AND they text you when your prescription is available to collect. I cannot think of anything negative to say. Well deserving of 5 stars.”

“Lidl is a supermarket, groceries retail type establishment. They have everything from fruits, to foodstuffs, sauces, pastries and other food produce. I think their prices are fairly reasonable, although I personally think ALDI has the cheapest prices. Lidl is not bad at all too”

“As a disabled person I write reviews for disabled people so they know what a store is like. Congratulations spotless. To start with it was 13:34:27 Monday 06 January 2025 . First I inspected the disabled toilet and it was immaculate plenty of toilet paper floor clean . The gents was also just as immaculate. You serve food in a cafeteria. I stopped to inspect it immaculate . tables clean ,floor clean ,staff throughout the store were very friendly and helpful. Good access through the store , wide aisles. Plenty of disabled parking out front. Busy car park. One cash machine outside undercover and a defibrillator located on the wall close by. What a pleasure to shop in a busy supermarket at peak time and find it immaculate in all areas . Great management.
Morrisons management team need to pay a visit to these toilets as ongoing training is required for Morrisons, cleaning and maintenance services and toilet hygiene especially where food is being served.
No environmental health concerns here . Environmental health officer did have to act after I informed them of my bacteria concerns in the toilets at Morrisons Anlaby hull

“A small store of the large Iceland network.This store is quite small but carries a wide range of products, many are frozen and are of generally excellent price and quality.They have many deals like the three for £10 they are all colour coded and you can see them advertised through out the store.There is an excellent public transport service for example EYMS 154, 63, 255 and 350.There is a small carpark close to the store with parking for the disabled.Staff freindly and helpful, and assist if needed with packing.This store sells alcohol and vape products.Well worth a visit but look out for the deals”

“Really miss shopping here, they're always friendly and helpful no matter who you are. I moved to Holderness Road and have been shopping at the Herons there, and the difference is shocking. It really puts customer service into perspective. A very rude, lazy and unwelcoming place, they need to take lessons from the team at the Chanterlands Avenue Herons.”

“Home bargains have a great selection of things starting with all item's one would require in the bathroom/toilet then there's garden equipment,also a good amount of D.I.Y. tool's , pots and pans and to round off with tin and boxed food ,cold drinks and a big selection of coffees holderness road bargain home's is well worth a visit 10th of June I was able to visit home bargains after a temporary close down because of the virus people are allowed in under strict rules, distancing ect ect it was good to get out 28th of February 2022 we where pleased to call in home bargains the store still requires you to where a mask and use the sanertazing machine but anything to keep you safe, the shelves where full of new stock especially in the garden section beautiful bird boxes and swings (small) in which to place bird seed all at a decent price”

“Even though it's a brand new store it is perfectly clean. Very nicely laid out and easy to navigate. A really good selection of fresh, frozen and tinned/packaged products and all with the usual Aldi prices, so quality and selection is worth every penny.”
