Very slow service, poor man in front had to answer personall questions in front of a queue of people not very confidential or private. Eventually, a second cashier came on. I was informed the branch didn't have enough to cover the amount I wanted to withdraw. Advised in a very condescending manner I should have rang first. When I said I'd tried to ring but the number for the branch was out of service and I couldn't find another number, I was smugly told the number was on the back of my card ( the number is the general telephone banking number). The cashier offered to order the money in for tomorrow. However, no good as I'm not in that area tomorrow. Terrible service.

Needs sorting out, as customers are waiting in queue at enquiries desk which is near entrance door and are blocking the entrance /exit door for other customers. One person on the enquiries desk who can be a long time dealing with a person resulting in queues forming to be seen. Seems to be short of front of house staff. Not like it used to be as Yorkshire bank.

Awful service from Virgin. Told to access online but accounts with an attached LPA can not be accessed online. 7 hours on the phone from one queue to another, one agent to another and then when someone did try to help she couldn't access the accounts. What should have been a simple query has taken over 3 weeks so far and I am no further forward.

Tried to call Hartlepool branch to make an appointment but the phone number shown on web page is not in use. I have difficulty walking now but will have to go to branch and hope they can deal with it without an appointment to see the manager. All the numbers shown are not correct and when I clicked on to speak to someone online it went on to an IT engineer. Nothing to do with what I wanted to ask. 2 days wasted when a simple call and answer could have been enough.

I tried to set up a facility so that I could help my 84 year old registered blind and disabled dad get easier access to his money as he is struggling physically.First I tried the accessibility team and was just given a number.Today the call centre said I need a solicitor to get his money, I told them I have LPoA, no difference.Absolutely shocking service.We are changing banks.

Wanted to deposit cheque, Alison a member of staff showed us how to use the all singing all dancing machine, Alison was very helpful in explaining how to use machine.

Absolute waste of time this bank been backwards and forwards about 20 times as my bank card keeps saying contact card issuer also been on phone for hours to try and get help and never can get through so still unable to use my card the staff in the bank are Absolute useless they just keep saying ring this number so in the end I moved to a way better bank with much better service

Why is this the only bank with a massive queue outside.?? One counter open and two elderly women held it up for over an hour ...why were they not put in a private room. Now Virgin have took over it has to be a fail. The floor staff are useless ...your all hopeless
