“It turns out that I transformed a routine visit to an outlying town into a special day out by visiting a friend I hadn't seen in 20 years. To be honest I wasn't particularly enamoured that the online COVID jab service sent me out to Blackhall in the first place instead of near my home just outside Durham.However I turned this to my advantage by visiting the aforementioned friend and left the car at the scenic Blackhall Rocks location before taking a leisurely walk ( good straight path for at least a mile .. kind sunny day ! ) to arrive at this pharmacy at 15.10 for a 15.15 appointment.Staff member at the counter very pleasant and efficient and I was dealt with by quite a charming young gentleman who administered the jab without any fuss and was duly sympathetic about the immuno depressive state I was in with a chronic kidney condition which resulted in me having this injection at the tender age of 61 ! I gather the service was otherwise open to the general public that had reached the age of 75+This was a good job done and out of the way .. a necessary hoop to jump through in my opinion as I strive to get my immunity topped up ahead of a taking a holiday in New Zealand in November of this year.EĹLIS COXON.”

“Switched to this chemist last year as my old one was disorganised and made you wait sometimes over a week ( won't name them).This chemist is marvellous, very friendly, well organised, and no waiting. They work very fast from both the GP and the local walk in centre.Have used for many years for myself and my children even though it's not the closest pharmacy to my surgery or where I live.The staff are helpful and seem knowledgeable and seem to care whenever I have been in with a concern.You can't ask for more from a pharmacy really. “Seems to be well stocked. Disappointed they haven't got staff now to help elderly, disabled or just weaker customers with heavier purchases. We had to rely on a helpful security guard to help us put bags in our cart.Excuse is they can't afford to hire more staff. I personally don't believe it. It's all about keeping profits high.”
