“Tidy little home bargains based upstairs in Middleton grange Shopping Centre (although probably will be shut down like most of the decent stores).
The store is clean and tidy and well stocked. It's probably one of the smallest Home Bargains I've ever been in, but it's certainly the cleanest. The wait at the tills was next to nothing, too, which was a bonus. The store is spacious, and there's plenty of staff around to help if you need pointing in the direction for specific items.
Home Bargains is an excellent store anyway, but I do like this one. Even though it's a touch on the smaller side, it still stocks everything I would personally buy.”

“I only popped in to by some stamps and i found it to be great, very helpful polite staff, both in the post office and behind the counter. Very easy to get parked right outside. Cheap and convinient, lots to choose from plus all your essentials, and the best thing is they have a FREE cash machine!”

“Clean shop with wide range of products and helpful staff, with sites at Middleton Grange, Tees Bay and Winterbottom Avenue. The latter 2 shops also have free parking. At the moment there are special multi buy offers. Including 3/4 for £3.Shop layouts are spacious although could possibly do with more staff on shop floor at busier times.”

“This branch has some history. Heron Foods is always very well stocked. The shop is tidy and the staff are friendly. They sell similar things to Iceland and offer home delivery if you spend £20.
The selection of products and the pricing are both fantastic. It's always worth popping in if you're upstairs, before you check out Iceland or Home Bargains.
They get some right bargains, like sugar free Tango or Fanta 6-8 packs or baby food £1 for 3. I love their tuna mayo and chicken tikka sandwich fillers.”

“Herons have 2 shops, a larger shop in the Middleton Grange shopping centre, and a smaller shop on the Fens.*Both shops offer a wide range at decent prices, both frozen/chilled foods and dry goods.I believe both shops are a subsidiary of the BM group, with shops situated in Middleton Grange and a large store on the Tees Bay retail estate,** free car parking.”

“Lovely, clean and spacious. Staff keep it well-stocked and are always on the go. The staff are always welcoming and friendly and I actually drive from the opposite side of the town to do my top up shop here.”
“Thankyou to Lewis and the other staff today. An unfortunate event was taking place in the entrance/exit. A shop lifter was being restrained on the floor by security as they waited for police.
I had my 6yo son with me at the self serve. A female staff member gave Kobe a chocolate lolly and Lewis walked us out of the store the back way and round to our car, to avoid my son having to witness the event happening at the front door.
Kobe is completely unaware of anything that was happening other than the shouting and because of you I have a very happy little boy rather than a frightened one.

“We have never been in this Tesco's before. Great selection of homeware. Really amusing spooky Halloween plates and table ware. A large refurbishment going on at the bottom of the store after the beers and wine. Really helpful staff at the tills to help me with the app. Thanks”

“This Tesco was my local when I lived in Hartlepool and I can’t fault it. Relatively small shop but they always have plenty of stock, and it is always clean and well organised. Several of the staff have worked there for a number of years and they are all extremely friendly and helpful. Always pop in whenever I’m in town visiting family.”
“The people working here are amazing, friendly go well and truly out there way to help ,there is a blonde lady works there makes you feel at ease relaxed ect very friendly,if its busy she let's you know your waiting time .just a nice pleasant efficient pharmacy definitely worth a visit.”

“Seems to be well stocked. Disappointed they haven't got staff now to help elderly, disabled or just weaker customers with heavier purchases. We had to rely on a helpful security guard to help us put bags in our cart.Excuse is they can't afford to hire more staff. I personally don't believe it. It's all about keeping profits high.”

“This is a new aldi store and quite big compared to the other Aldi store in Hartlepool.It's always tidy, and the car park is of a sufficient size to meet the demand in comparison to the other store, too.There are plenty of bargains to be had, and I particularly like the layout of the store with the option to use self checkout.There is also a toilet located inside the store with baby changing facilities too.Overall, it's very good Aldi, and I drive extra miles to visit this one instead of the other.”
