“We stayed for three nights whilst visiting the local area attractions. The main reason for choosing a Premier Inn is the breakfast, which was amazing. Next is the comfortable rooms. There was no air con and even though it was only around 21° in the day and cooler at night, our room was like a furnace. we had to have the fan on all night on it’s top setting which disturbed our sleep and left us a tad grumpy. The bathroom remained damp and hot too.”

“This was our first time at Rib & Reef, and I have to say I wouldn't go anywhere else now. The food was amazing, our son said it was the best steak he'd ever had (and he's had a few) the drinks were lovely, but by far the service we recieve was second to none (I'm sorry I didn't get the ladys name) Fantastic service, and fantastic value for money, definitely will be going back.”

Always well stocked and usually a discount on offer. Post Office staff are friendly and helpful with lots of knowledge on national and international deliveries, as well as self service option to beat the queues.”
“A classic bookshop. Rammed with books. Full of nooks and crannies. Additionally a wide array of board games and gifts. The children's department is particularly well equipped with literature, learning materials and even some select LEGO items. If you are regularly in Durham, a must visit for the latest titles, if you only there for the day, a must for its charm.”
