“For a small supermarket they sell all the necessities and more. Just a little expensive for everyday shopping but understand they don't have the same pricing abilities as larger supermarkets. They also sell odd bits and pieces which are really useful. A friend bought jump leads from them in the past which were cheaper than B&Ms. Wasn't something I'd expect them to have and a pleasant surprise. Also very helpful. If they don't have something and you ask, they will try to get it in for you.”

“Love herons, favourite place to shop just wish and hope the prices weren’t getting a bit pricey but other than that its my goto shop as usually its cheap yet nice food. Wish They didn’t sell out of stuff so fast but thats not their fault lol”

“A very quiet supermarket compared to the Aldi nextdoor, with plenty of good deals on frozen food and confectionery/pastries, and some soft drinks - it is a good competitor to Farmfoods.”

“Proper Asian supermarket - narrow isles, shelves stacked with all sorts of food stuffs, with imported products that are good value so you know you are getting the best, and great service. There's even a fish counter. Just the neighborhood around it brings it down - some sketchy lads, not a lot of places to park, and no accessible entrance.”

“Plenty of parking and easy access for wheelchair users, disabled and parent and child parking close to store, staff are helpful and checkouts are efficient with an area to pack your shopping, the bakery offers a good choice of products.”

“Excellent shop on Yarm Rd., Darlington holds everything for you're everyday needs, and at a good price too.

And so much better than Lidl and their different price structures dependent upon whether you have their 'app' on your phone.

Aldi; no hidden gimmicks, just everything you need at one low price.!!”

“I was at Sainsbury's in Darlington with a service user to get some groceries. Sainsbury's is quite cheaper than some other grocery stores. A good place to get your groceries if you are in Darlington. The staff were of great help when we were trying to get some groceries and can't get to locate them.”

“Big Savings, Surprising Finds
Great for budget-friendly shopping, with loads of deals on everyday essentials and unexpected gems. Prices are low, and there’s always a bargain to be had. Some items sell out fast, so it’s hit-or-miss at times—but worth checking regularly for the best steals.”

“Well I find it’s a lovely shop.Great prices and easy to get to from where I live.Andrew is a lovely young man and my support and assistance dog very welcome. Its a lovely clean store as opposed to Morrisons just over the road which smells awful and the toilets are sometimes shut.”

“Prices are still higher than Country Harvest but the service has improved loads and deserves 5 Stars **** The post office is staffed with helpful people and very efficient. The store keeps more everyday products and produce than it size suggests. A Tardis not Londis springs to mind. A vast improvement which deserves this rating. “This is a great little convenience store. Handy for grabbing the few things you need. Also have a good stock of reasonably priced wines. The staff are friendly and lovely to chat too. If they had a broader stock of Italian wine and less South African it would definitely be 5 stars.”

“No issues. Straight in and out. Pump was working as expected. Gloves were available which I like to use. I am disabled so used the pay at pump option which was working fine. My Son went inside to get some drinks and snacks and was happy with the service he received.”

“Like a cash&carry (but cheaper than costco), this supermarket is great for frozen food, cereals and soft drink, and especially large shops, especially with the vouchers (8.3-10% off), which you can sign up for and get emailed offers bi-weekly. However, you can't get hold of the prices online except through the emails or by going to the store, so comparison is tricky (like shopping at Aldi, Lidl or Boyes, who don't display all their prices). However, the low prices means that some brands are missing, or choices are limited to one brand per product.”

“Morrisons has lots of offers on friendly staff, very helpful clothing department very good especially the children's area, nice cafe as well children can eat free all day with 1 child to 1 adult meal, that's really good value.”

“Great little shop, lots of good quality stuff and friendly staff. Handy for the village as nothing else for a few miles, which is probably why it's slightly on the expensive side understandably.”
