Sadly our experience has been anything other than stressful and problematic.Our £5,000 sofas arrived in November 2021. On delivery we noticed that they were badly damaged and immediately notified Sofa Italia.In accordance with consumer legislation we are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund.We opted for replacement and notified Sofaitalia.Sadly they have declined to offer us replacements, even though this is contrary to consumer legislation.Thankfully we purchased using interest free credit. The finance company have been very supportive by confirming that we were entitled to a refund or replacement. They have paused our repayments whilst they try to sort this mess out. They?ve written to Sofa Italia to remind them of their obligations under the law, but we still await a resolution.As Sofa Italia have denied us our basic rights under the law we are now perusing them for a refund rather than a replacement as their willingness to sort out problems is sadly lacking.Seems very strange that Sofa Italia choose to ignore consumer law and treat their customers so badly.The whole experience has been a living nightmare, one which I wouldn?t want to repeat.I will update this review to say how Sofa Italia resolve this matter.
