“Mostly, I go there to collect mail order parcels. But have bought foodstuff, etc, in there. It's like what was known as a corner shop back in the day. Sells most "essentials". Tidy, well lit shop with some parking, which is ideal. Staff, friendly, helpful. So nice visits; won't hesitate to go in there. Chippy next door if anyone is interested. ;-)”

“Love this little shop/supermarket. If you need something for a south east Asian, Indian, Bangladeshi or any other curry really, this is your place. Far more interesting than sainsbury's or tesco and the staff are great! Also good for a loaf of bread and a pint of milk.”

If you're traveling from a cruise ship, take the free shuttle from Portland UK and get off at the SECOND stop in the town... the free shuttle runs every ten minutes from where it drops you off for easy return...”

“I visited this shop on Thursday 15th May and needed to write this review. There was a lady of advanced years doing her shopping and although obviously very capable she needed a little extra help. The staff member in the shop - I think her name was Julie - showed such respect and kindness. She helped the lady grab the last few bits she needed and even called her a taxi. They were obviously on first name terms and it was apparent that the older lady knew that to come and get her shopping here means she will be supported and continue to be able to be independent. I think a moment of kindness like this should be recognised.”

“Pleasant staff. The shop looks small but has a back area that has two levels. Those with mobility issues may struggle. Lots on offer but a bit expensive on some items. £4.00 for Mcvitie chocolate digestives! That's one pack.... good for various bits though. Very handy.”
