“Living here has been so enjoyable, and that has helped because of this lovely local shop that houses the little bits you need to live in this beautiful village. This shop also holds the record for the largest scotch egg and has a post office inside just in case you want to post off anything!”

“The comment below has been misled by the name. It should be read as 'shop on Brewery Farm'. Lots of things around here are called brewery as the village hall was a brewery back in the day. It's not a farm shop as such, just a useful little village store that saves you having to go all the way to Blandford or Dorchester for daily essentials.”

“Hi
Just went to the checkout and was amazed.
Liz and Sue are only the two to help me pack my shopping in the bag.
All the others are in such a rush that the shopping goes next to the bag which is your bag for life.
You have such a small counter any help is good sometimes you feel as a customer you are in the way.
Regards”

“It's easy to find fault, and yes, it's tricky to know exactly when the shop closes to take deliveries since the pandemic (usually some time between 11 - 2) BUT the shop has continued to function and support the local community throughout all the lockdowns over the last year and for that I will always be grateful. The staff are friendly and helpful and they stock an amazing amount, considering the size of the shop!”

“Improved a lot over the last couple of years, due to modernisation and improved layout.

Generally clean and tidy.

Staff friendly and helpful.

Lots of self-checkouts and scan as you shop and not enough people on tills. Expect long queues.

Home delivery very good though picking not as good as it used to be.

Dorchester really needs a bigger store now.”

“A good collection of products which are well laid out in a very clean store. Didn’t buy anything on this visit but the visit highlighted what was on offer for another day.”

“This store normally has what I am looking for in a local convenience shop. Can get busy at times and will no doubt get busier when the new housing estate nearby is complete. Co-op should be looking at larger premises in he area.....”

“My much preferred convenience store to stop off on my way home from work, easy parking, always seems well stocked with a great range of beers, wines and plenty of deals on offer.”

“Nice shop, friendly staff, please note Post Office opens 9am, not 7am to 6pm as shown in Google search results (google search ‘Post Office Charminster’).”
