Nice friendly pub and excellent food!

Went for a meal. Good bar food, the beer was well kept. Had a good pint of Otter. Fish and chips was very good as was partner's mac and cheese. The bar is well used by locals; nice atmosphere felt friendly. Recommended.

6 of us had an early evening meal and drinks. All meals were excellent and good value, especially the steak and ale pie, which 3 of us ordered. We all agreed it was the best pie we had had in years and is to be highly recommended. Staff very welcoming and friendly with excellent service. definitely go back again.
