“Such a wonderful little hotel, decorated beautifully, its so quiet and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. We came for the first time for Afternoon Tea and everything was perfect. The gardens were stunning and those fruit tarts on the afternoon tea were so good! We had to ask what they were made with. Will definitely come back”

The building is lovely and the rooms are certainly not a disappointment. I could hear an owl hooting outside and the stars were very visible in the clear dark skies

The restaurant was great. Breakfast was just right and was promptly served. Dinner really was delicious.

I had the smoked chicken salad starter (see pic) and it was so nice I immediately wanted another one. Everything I had was freshly cooked with good quality, fresh ingredients. Of course the high quality is reflected in the price but it was not particularly expensive. If you want cheap, then go to McDonalds.

The staff were great. Courteous and didn't mind a joke.

I loved the place. It was an absolute highlight of my trip.

The downside is the phone reception which the hotel can't do much about but their WiFi worked well so I just made calls on WhatsApp.”
