My bank having closed its branch in Dorchester, I popped into the Post Office to see whether they could help me pay a cheque into my bank account. The lady behind the counter was so friendly and helpful and efficient. I was expecting all kinds of difficulties, but she dealt with it all just like that. Definitely 5? service!

I have used lots of post offices around the UK with my job but this is by far the best Georgie the lady behind the counter goes above and beyond with her work ethic. I will be using this as my main post office for all our needs. Keep up the great work?

I unfortunately when I sorted out paperwork to send I found that I had left some of my paper work at Dorchester Post Office. I didn't realise that it was there until I received it through the post from Christine!!! I would like to thank her as it was a lovely thing to do.

I had the worst experience in the post office today. The lady with the short hair think she?s called Lauren. Was so rude.,I was trying to sort out my car tax and had been in earlier and she said had had the wrong form for a disabled tax exemption so I left a rang the DWP who told me I had the right form for a tax exemption so I went back to the post office.This girl was on a power trip or something and she knew more than the DWP because she told me so and it was almost as if she had the power to give me my road tax or not.. Whether I had the right form or not was not what was in question. I said I?m not being rude to you so why are you being so rude to me about this and I?m only telling you what the DWP had just told me. I ask for her name so I could file a complaint and as I was leaving she shouted don?t you ever come back into this post office again in front of a queue of customers waiting behind me.,not only was this embarrassing and unprofessional but if she can?t handle a customer service job then she shouldn?t be in customer service.. I wasn?t rude to her at all but she really did upset me. This is not the only time I?ve encountered her rudeness., She has been rude to me every time she has served me over the years so that?s why I?ve decided to post this because I?ve really just had enough of her unnecessary and unprofessional rudeness and I see I?m not alone reading the other reviews. I can?t believe the post office hasn?t done something about her with so many complaints.. It?s really sad.. So many nice and deserving people would love to have a job like hers?

I would like to say a massive well done and thank you to Georgie at the Trinity Street Branch.
She was so helpful,and totally committed to dealing with my request, which was made more difficult due to the printer playing up.
With Georgies sheer perseverance and patience, the situation was resolved.
I could not have asked for a better customer service.

I never have any issues here. It is unfortunately very busy and would benefit from more staff. But this isn't the fault of the employees.
The staff are all friendly and well informed.
5/5 Perfect post office with all facilities. Especially compared to others and those silly cornerstore post offices!
Side Note-
The new design style of the buildings interior; offers safety for the staff (which is nice). But makes everything feel busy and bulky. The new position of the queue/waiting line is very clustered. I almost feel like I may accidentally crash into a stall of artisan crafts.
Also, the new staff windows are more challenging for those who want to post something larger. Or have a sensory disability and struggle to hear.
I understand why this has happened. More room for selling merchandise (which ironically; asides from cards I've never witnessed anyone buy).

Georgie was so helpful in the post office today, helped me find exactly what I needed to post my item off and really provided me with a great service. Lovely business and always so helpful.

I dont understand all the negative comments,i use this post office for posting off business parcels as well as other services,staff are very helpful,the lady with the dark hair always has a lovely smile as do the other staff.

on visiting my auntie in dorchester she took me in to the post office and the lady behind the counter (purple framed glasses) was very helpful and polite and helped my auntie with her dvla forms .Thankyou so much.

Extremely rude customer service, the lady in short grey hair couldn't have been more unpleasant and purposely not helpful. Everyone complains about the same rude person, can't believe she still works there.

Worst experience . Very racistic behaviour from the lady sitting on the first counter. I went to post my DVLA form , unfortunately I didn't done the address part, the lady in the counter instead of helping acted very weird, grumpy moreover she asked me to wait , instead of my turn she ignored me literally I waited in the queue for another hour. Very disappointed ?
