“It is surprising that our local post office were able to help my wife and I to do something that our local bank couldn't and although many people could not supply an answer, (even in the banking industry they are not always capable) the post office gave us the answer we needed, namely to buy an item with cash without being suspected of laundering money. Such is the crazy, suspicious minds of the powers that be. Be knowledgeable of "silliness" when you wish to buy something with a lot of cash. The post office can accept sums up to the value of £2000...no higher, which can then be used to buy the "expensive" item of your choice via your bank card. On this occasion, I sought good advice from Ashleigh Way Post Office, Teignmouth”
