“A fantastic pub to stay and eat in. Staff were welcoming. Room large and comfortable. Food was amazing, both the evening meal and breakfast were so tasty. Great location for Lydford Gorge or Dartmoor. Would highly recommend.”

“Popped in on our way to our holiday home, we were just about to go to the garage and saw the sign for the Post Inn that made us chuckle ? so we chose a decent lunch over a garage sandwich! Glad we did!
Received a warm welcome from the bar staff and seated quickly. Lots to choose on the menu, we went for ham, egg and chips and a jacket spud. All delicious!
Beautiful little village location and amazing views from the beer garden. We were lucky to have a visit from their resident bulldog, who kept us company whilst we ate.

“Visited the area again for the day & ordered takeaway dartmoor burger & fries at The Tors.This is our usual trea, but we were a tad disappointed. The burger came back literally dripping everywhere with a cheese sauce? Not had this on before & it made eating whilst trying not to drip the sauce all over my clothes,car face, very difficult & the sauce itself overpowered the taste of the burger..please,please go back to a wedge of cheese,instead of the sauce..This used to be my fav burger.?❤️”

“On the edge of Dartmoor National Park this hotel is well located for walking trips and days out. Just beside the A30 outside Okehampton it is easy to get to and drive all over Dartmoor. The exterior looks weathered and tired but inside the hotel is well maintained and the staff are incredible. The rooms are big and recently refurbished. Bedding is white and fresh and carpets are spotless. For the price there is no better accommodation in the area and with Dartmoor across the road it is a place. Our room at the back of the hotel overlooked open farmland and then from the Reception doorway you look straight onto the Moor.”
