“Staff were very helpful in response to my ignorant questions and the young checkout gentleman with the specs was particularly friendly and jokey in the most professional way :)”

“Went and done our shopping at half 9 in the evening, got most of what I needed and most of it was reduced so I was very happy, the only produce I will not buy from any lidl is fruit and veg, I find that it goes off with in a day, I go to another store for my fresh produce”

“Went here to drop off a parcel for collection by Courier. I was pleasantly surprised to see a reasonably wide variety of food and drink for sale at this petrol station. This is a very decent Convenience Store.”

“Staff took an absolute age to come to the table to take our order. I had to go to them in the end, at one point 4 staff standing around watching one person make one drink.. what was meant to be a quick stop for a coffee turned into a longer drink than planned. Not great if I am honest.”

“Well done East the water store for providing a changing places for wheelchair users. Thank you Dan for showing me the facilities. I would have given 5 stars, if the hoist was on charge, ladder and stored wheelchairs not in there.Big thank you for trying, worth doing my shopping here for this facility. ????”

“Some of the staff here are brilliant, really friendly. It’s a shame that the post office is now at the front next to the counter, as it’s very confusing if you’re buying from the shop too which queue to use first, and then do you jump the queue to buy your milk if you’ve been to the post office, or go to the back of the queue?! The poor staff are frequently jumping from one queue to the other. The post office is also never open when it’s meant to be, so it’s frequently a wasted trip, but it’s always a surprise what unusual bits you can find in costcutter”

“Called here for tea one day when shopping. Two main meals and drinks for £10, a bargain although the lady behind the till said she didn't think the offer was still on. Surely it must have been or it wouldn't have deducted money! Delicious fish pie and meat pie”

“I am a celiac and after trying the Cornish Pastie cafe and seeing Costa had nothing for me for lunch, we came to Asda. Not only did the ladies in cafe help us out with what was gluten free but they also took such care to make sure it was prepared safely and told me of risks (it was a toastie so would come out of its bag steaming hot) and they were brilliant. I would highly recommend. Thanks to the ladies and staff at Asda Cafe”
