“Had great service for both diesel and LPG unfortunately LPG was not working last time I called and was told may not be repaired. As a member of Motor Caravan Club this was the only site ti get gas in the North Devon area and many of the MCC used them. Let's hope its repaired soon.”

“I have been a NatWest customer for many years, and have found in that time, all of the female staff and most of the male, at the Barnstaple branch, to be polite, friendly and helpful. I am sorry but some of them have received abuse from other customers during Covid, which has made the staff, not surprisingly, defensive, which can sometimes come across as indifference.”

“We had to do some urgent banking in August while on holiday in Devon. The staff at Torrington branch could not have been more competent and helpful, sorting out some documents needed for a house purchase and even getting a card reader to us the same day! They have restored our faith in humanity and we are so grateful. We hope that the bosses at Nationwide will recognize their efforts! Sue and Rachel”

“Edit:So figured it was time to update this review as things change, change is just what this store has done. Recently the huge pot hole has been repaired and to a fairly high standard so should last. Also the staff seem much happier now and their stocking issues appear to also have been resolved.What a result, keep up this good work!Old Review:Worst store by a long shot, I'd recommend going to the garage at the top of the road rather than here. Shop looks like its about to fall apart and that's nice, the carparking area has a massive pot hole which has been there for quite sometime now and staff just aren't bothered. That and the fact they never have the basics such as milk is just no good as a shop. Stay clear and go elsewhere, save your time”
