Really lovely, friendly, cosy country pub surrounded by the countryside. Small but interesting menu, very fresh and good portion sizes. Really enjoyed the vegan option offered, will definitely visit again!

It was very cheap for the area. They have a nice small beer garden out the front. Would definitely go back again if I was in the area

Wow - step back in time. Not many of these real old pubs remain. We had the pie and mash which was next level. Staff and service friendly and efficient!

Incredible Steak and Ale pie. There?s a pub down the road called Grouse & Claret that claims to have the best Pub Pie, clearly a lie!
The rest of the food we had looked and tasted amazing too. If I didn?t live so far away I?d be back all the time! Proper pub, proper food.
