Great stay at this lovely inn. Food, beer, room, service -all top notch. Also great location for walk into Chatsworth Estate.

Historical pub with great cuisine . Ordered the Whipped Brie, (great combination of flavours), Fried Squid with aioli, (crunchy and yet juicy and very flavoursome)and the Ox Cheek (cooked perfectly and rich in flavour too). Nice old pub. Used to be the Devonshire Arms. Food was great. Some items a little pricey. Sandwiches were excellent tho. Friendly staff. Well kept cask ales.
