Had lunch here and was very good. Probably the best ploughman's I've had. Homemade bread and sausage rolls. Lovely lean ham and local cheeses. Had a homemade apple and cinnamon crumble with vanilla custard for dessert and was also really good and a large portion. My friend had a homemade steak pie with mash and she said was very good. Prices were good from the Light Bites menu. There was another comprehensive menu of mains at higher prices.

The Pilsley Inn! Wow! A stunning pub well worth a visit if you?re visiting the area. We booked a Saturday evening meal. The service was brilliant. The manager was warm, jolly and welcoming on arrival and the staff were attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is classic country pub. Clean, rustic charm yet modern.
Dining! The food was delicious. (See photos) we recommend highly!

We have stayed here several times. Last night the ambience was very good. Service was very good on a very busy evening. Staff we very welcoming and helpful. The food was locally sourced ingredients, seasonal and well balanced flavours. This was originally a coaching inn serving weary travellers good food and comfotable lodgings. It is still achieving that to a very good standard. This is a very good choice for ramblers and exploring The Peak District.

Lovely hotel, great location, staff were great. Room was a little hot and the bed was a bit of a climb to get into! Maybe not suitable for older less mobile people!

I can't comment on rooms, but if the location, service, and food is anything to go by, Then I expect a top standard.
We had venison saddle, beef, and ale pie, with sides of parmesan and truffle fries and buttered new potatoes.
If you're used to carvery style meals and portions, then I suggest ordering sides with your mains.
Cooked to perfection. Melt in your mouth!!
Was previously Devonshire arms at Pilsley now Pilsley Inn.
The dining area is also dog friendly. Fresh water provided.
