“Just had an evening meal, booked by phone and set our time for 8pm.The wife wasn't feeling too well so just had a soup which she said was lovely.As I was feeling OK I had a starter then the lasagne, and I have to admit it was probably the best I have ever had, and as this is my go to meal when I can get it. Staff were very pleasant and helpful especially as my wife has an allergy to wood smoke and there was a lovely fire on a chilly night to welcome guests. So 100% this is our No1 destination on our next visit. Dog friendly and a relaxed atmosphere.Food & drinks: Good selection of ales and the usually drinks, food we had 10 out of 10”
