Lodging in Ulverston, Cumbria

“Stayed at this lovely cosy Inn for one night when visiting our Daughter and Son-in-law who had acquired a static caravan in Bouth we took our little chihuahua along with us. Everything was excellent, clean beautiful en-suite facilities, spotless bedroom with Freeview TV, also a fan which as it was very warm came in handy and the best cooked breakfast we have ever had all in all a fantastic stay, as it is a small cosy Inn we were concerned as when we checked in there is only a small parking area at the front as shown on the website and it was full, there is room opposite along side the wall but we were concerned as farm tractors frequently use the lane, however when we returned at 8.30pm there were more bikes than cars so parked without a problem.”

“Beautiful place to stay, especially the shepherds hut. Hosts are lovely and very hospitable and the location is fantastic, had an excellent time taking wildlife photos!”

“Went for a meal with family during a weekend away. Our table was in a quieter back room which lacked a little ambience but it was early teatime. However, the food was absolutely delicious and I would dine there again. Staff were lovely.”

“Kickstarted our Cumbria Way adventure at Sun Inn, and couldn’t have been better. Cozy, lively atmosphere and very friendly staff. Our room was clean and comfortable, with great views of Ulverston. Have to give a special shout-out to Liam and Jack at Sun Inn for being so attentive and gentlemanly when we requested to leave our bags behind for a bit of exploring. Get the garlic mushroom starter if you’re eating!”
