“Enjoyed our stay at the premier inn. We had been camping nearby and we’re desperate for a bath, arrived and asked for the availability of an early check in for £10, our room was ready and it was lovely. Good central location, just off the high street and near the bus station. Nice comfy beds. Room was a bit warm but didn’t want air con on. Wasn’t told breakfast times so just had to Google them. Only fault was the Wi-Fi, it kept cutting out, we had to see if reception could reboot. Still a bit hit and miss after that but other than that, a great stay and will come back. Avoid the restaurant next door for meals, plenty other restaurants and cafes nearby which are much nicer.”

“A wonderful stay on our way from Scotland to England and a big surprise. The room was freshly painted, new carpets, clean, great sheets, towels etc and the view was fabulous. It was very quiet and just what we needed for our trip south.”

“This was a fantastic pub for drinking, with a warming design contributed by the ceiling lights! The wall's map is historic, counter is well-presented and staff were approachable. I enjoyed a pint of Strongbow Dark Fruit, sitting at leather seating of a clean table!”
