We stopped there after a long day out and everything was superb! The scone was absolutely delicious, and service was extremely polite and friendly. If you get the chance to stop by, you'll have a lovely experience. We'll definitely come back!

Did not enjoy at all, got stomach cramps off the bacon as it was re heated and really hard and very hard to chew, the hash browns were like glass also re heated hardly any potato in it , beans were warm not hot, the latte and cappuccino were nice, but definitely would not return as the breakfast was basically all reheated .

Relaxed outdoor seating area, perfect stop off after Hardknott on the bike.
Good service, reasonable prices, friendly staff, and they filled up my water with some ice cubes too. Will go again.

Great carrot cake! Sat outside in one of the wooden shelters, but still quite hot. A cooler alternative would have been to sit in the gift shop, which also has a great range of goods.

I come here on a regular basis, and with good reason. The food is fantastic, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Set in amongst the trees with with plenty of birds flocking to the numerous bird feeders, it's a great place to relax for food and refreshments

I have been to countless cafes across the Lake District but never been as impressed with a cafe as I have with the Woodlands Tea Room. Fantastic food, friendly and kind staff and a lovely location. If I were to recommend a menu item from this cafe, it would have to be the caramelised onion and cheese scone, haven?t come across anything that has tasted as good!

Staff were lovely and the food was delicious. 9 of us came for breakfast before our mountain climb, all filled and fuelled for the day. Beautiful views whilst in the cafe- can?t fault anything! Definitely worth the visit when in the area. Thank you

Just stop in for a coffee and see if you can resist the scones and cakes, you won't. The location is idyllic, the staff charming and the coffee really good. I didn't eat here so can't comment but others around me seemed more than happy.

Lots of choice for food and a good selection of gifts.
Dog friendly seating inside, or outside on bench tables or individual covered seating pods.
