Good location, petrol reasonably priced. Small convenience store inside with lots of essential items. Only negative is the staff are not very friendly, don't speak to me at all, never smiled once.

Great garage with useful shop on the West Lakes coast road. This place has saved many a holiday when we've forgotten some basics for eekef catering. Has off-licence and limited OTC medicines too.

Today Saturday 15th October 2022 I visited Esso Holmrook and it was a most enjoyable experience.First of all access and exit from the petrol station is good.There are plenty of petrol pumps to choose from so you do not have wait long for a petrol pump.The petrol pumps are modern pumps and dispense fuel quickly and efficiently.There is a shop attached to the petrol station which is convenient if you need any provisions.I would recommend a visit to Esso Holmrook.

We thankfully found this petrol at station after climbing Scafell pike, we were glad we did! Lots of choice, the lady working was very nice and helpful. Maybe a little expensive but that?s expected as it?s so far from anywhere

Convenient and a good selection of goods, just make sure you check the use by dates on some chilled and fresh foods, our fault for not checking but 2 Ginsters pasties we brought on the 4th April were already 2 days out of date, and a bag of potatoes without a date on them were all growing and some were soft when we came to use them a couple of days later, like I say we should have checked and it was a bit far to return them. Otherwise they had a fine selection of cakes (love cake?) and the store and staff were pleasant.

In Ravenglass, there are no shops here for things such as sandwiches, water etc.This shop has a good selection of all the basics, and also had polite & friendly service.Which is just as well if, like me, you are walking, not driving!
