“A lovely Gin lovers DB&B 1 night stop over with our dog. Our apartment was lovely & the food was amazing. Highly recommend a stay here. Would definitely stay again - the distillery tour was really interesting too & once the yucky rain cleared a beautiful hike to the top of a nearby fell was stunning!”
“Superb food at very reasonable prices for the quality. I stayed in my van with a mate. Deal was we could park up overnight in the car park if we had our evening meal in the pub. Good deal for us, lol. Thanks.Food & drinks: Superb! Steak and ale pie absolutely top drawer.”
“Breakfast only. Good plateful, neatly oresented, but self-service selection was a bit more limited compared to past while price has bumped up. Selection perhaps understandable as out of busy season.Walkability: Set in old market area of Cockermouth so a very short walk into old Georgian Main Street. Pay carpark opposite.”
“This is about our fourth stay, but the first time that I have left a Review. Every time we have visited we have always got a very warm welcome from all the Staff members, too many to name individually but are all so helpful at all times. One of the Staff on our last visit explained to us about the Premier Plus rooms and even took the time to let us view one, and my wife and I can only say a huge Thank you to that member of Staff as we did upgrade our room for our latest three days stay. Hope to see you all again soon, keep up the good work, from Linda & Gordon Smith.”
“Travelodge Cockermouth is a great place to stay on your visit to the western Lakes. It was very comfortable and had a great breakfast to start the day off for us. Will definitely be staying there again”
“stayed with a hockey tour! Great staff..very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfasts, room clean and tidy. good parking and access. Will definitely go again. only issue is stairs can be tricky with large bags.”
“Golf break for 4 guys with 3 cars.
Comfortable twin rooms, very tasty breakfast and helpful staff helped us locate car parking spaces at 7pm ish on our arrival.
Hidden spaces rear of the building.
Less than 3 minutes walk to The Bush Inn for great beers and pub grub (steak pies) on our 2nd night.
Will certainly return and recommend to family and friends.
Staff all very helpful and friendly in all parts of the hotel.
Rooms: Comfortable twins.”
