“Handily placed at the top of M1 Junction 42 - clean, well stocked and friendly staff. Not only was the price of the fuel very much lower (£141.9) than the rip off Motorway services - why do people remotely think of paying these extortionate prices ???????? - but they were cheaper than the Supermarket chains in Derbyshire (£146.7 at Derby Morrisons) , clearly proving these supermarkets are taking us for a ride (no pun intended). In fact the cheapest fuel we found all weekend was £139.7 in the remote back of beyond near Oban , Further irrefutable proof of the greed of the supermarket chains.”

“This fuel station is easy to access. It's also relatively easy to get out of too. Avoid at peak times of the day as you'll be waiting in a line outside on the main road.”

“Sainsbury's take note this place opens before 6am & has the numbers lit up on the pin panel so yiu can see the numbers to put your pin in how 22 century of em, sainsbos don't like you to see the numbers on there pathetic machines just let you guess what you're pressing for your pin. ...”

“Staff are great. Like the supermarket pricing as opposed to the more expensive non supermarket players. Being a driver that side helps, but a lack of a public toilet does let it down a bit. I know that there is one in the supermarket, but time is tight, and to then go find a space to park and contend with the supermarket shoppers to boot, puts that as a no go”

“Better prices in the shop now as it's now Asda. Great staff, always a laugh - dodgy card machine though that contactless didn't go through on but sounded like it did!”

“This is my favourite petrol station as they have three hoses instead of two. Yes I know you are thinking (I know what you are thinking.) The first is petrol, the second is diesel and the third, why the third pours lovely sweet apple juice and it tastes just so good!”

“Convenient little shop with a good range of stuff. Fuel is usually a bit more expensive than the supermarkets but not always so it's worth checking! Staff are generally friendly and chatty, but a few hardly acknowledge customers. A mostly decent experience”

“It's a bit strange reviewing a filling station. What can I say? It did exactly what you'd expect a filling station to do. I arrived with the intention to buy some diesel and wash the car. I left fifteen minutes later with just over half a tank and a cleaner car than I arrived in. Result!”

“I only pulled in because I hit a ferkin pothole that took out my front tyre.. On the Carlisle roundabout North bound slip.. Another £100. Why are we paying road tax... Anyway I got a caramel hot chocolate and it was great and the lady behind the counter was very pleasant and chatty...”

“I wish I’d got the lady’s name but I was seen by the kindest most professional and thorough pharmacist today.Thank you for looking after me. Many pharmacists are so busy they don’t seem to have time to care about the people behind the problems but you did.Thank you again, you made a difference to someone today x”

“This petrol Station is located just off the M6 motorway at junction 43.Save yourself a whole lot of cash and call in here if you are travelling far on the motorway. Also worth visiting the Tesco's superstore cafe for meals too.Very good value for money.Just add that the Petrol station does not seem to be 24 hour ATM”
