“When our driver was taking us to the hotel I asked him to stop at a liquor store he thought I was just joking, I was not at all and when I saw the sign for Bargain Booze I said, "Stop" immediately. I was thrilled to see my new favorite Sauvignon Blanc for 7.5 quid. I got 2 bottles and a 4 pack of Heineken. As I was checking out the clerk said, "that Heineken is alcohol free" Whoa Joe wouldn't like that. I didn't know the difference since I'm not a beer drinker...You save a fortune purchasing this in advance. It ended out being a great decision because we had to wait almost 2 hours to get checked in to our room.The next day we decided to take a tour of Bownes the town that we drove thru on our way to Windermere Beech Hotel. It was great because I saw Bargain Booze onceagain and they remembered me from the day before. I got some more of that wonderful wine once again. We had lots of rain the first day so we were happy to have some sunthis day for our shop. Great place with very fun lake ladies to help me!”

If you are going to bad mouth members of staff, please remember to state the whole conversation! You asked if they sell bigger bags of carrots you got told no, you then asked a member of staff for a SKEWER, then went on to say ‘you know a metal skewer’ you really shouldn’t be mad with the staff if they can’t read your mind and know that you want something to clean with and not to cook with,”
