We visited here as we were passing through Ambleside and we were so pleased we did! The service was incredible - such friendly, happy staff who are willing to take their time with you. The apple pie was always going to be good but wow, it was AMAZING! I wish I?d had room for a couple more! We also had a brunch butty and a cheese and potato pasty - both of which were delicious! Plenty of seating and the queue moves quickly. Toilets are so clean too - always a big plus!

We ordered two full English breakfasts and two coffees. The service was fast, and the staff were friendly. The food was delicious!

Tried both the plain and spiced apple pie slices. The plain was much better, as the spice overpowered the apple in the other. Pastry was spot on in both.

I have visited this Bakery and Cafe several times and the cakes, bread, everything...is of the highest quality. If something isn't made with quality ingredients or indeed, with love, I'd rather go hungry. I seek out establishments, where local ingredients are sourced and the care taken to produce the food, is of the highest standard. Whether it is a sausage roll or a delicious
meal; it's the content and the service, that makes all the difference. And The Apple Pie Bakery covers it all. I recently tried their jam doughnut. The best I have ever eaten! And their fresh baguette was incredible. I'll be back...!!!

I got an apple pie to take away and I was surprised to find they do not warm it up. It?s cold and you only get a tiny slice. To be honest I am very disappointed with this as apple pie should be warmed up and u don?t see why they can?t do it as a take away.

I Got given a Cold Apple pie and was told they were not able to be warm it up as it was takeaway. Also Felt like I was rushed through the door.

Lots of space to sit inside and outside. Really nice food, quite expensive for what it is but yummy none the less. Dog friendly and options for veggie and GF. Great apple pie to takeaway. Really good coffee too, proper coffee.

The bakery is exceptional - the best sausage roll and jam doughnuts I have ever eaten. Definitely highly recommend for a stop after a hike!

Read some reviews and had to stop for an apple pie ? I must say it was delicious but food was very expensive
We got a 2 wraps , brownie , apple pie , cinnamon roll and 2 coffees , water and coke £70 ?
