“Because the weather was unpredictable in the North West with heavy snow predicted at the time I was there I decided to fill up at the nearest petrol station. However when I got there it was coned off!! We went to a local garden centre and rang the station for an update on the opening times. The phone was answered quickly and the reason it was closed was for an electrical inspection. This would take about an hour or so they would then re-open.We then decided to wait at the garden centre and maybe have a bite to eat. After we had eaten I again rang the petrol station and joy of joys it was open. The price per litre was reasonable.”
