Do not recommend. Terrible, rude service. Ordered take away and kept being told different delivery times, waited over 2 hours!! Not first time either. Happens alot. Then they put the phone down when I said I wanted to cancel, no apologies, nothing. Don?t deserve the business.

Terrible experience. We ordered starters and waited over 30 minutes with no updates. When we asked, the waiter seemed indifferent and didn?t care. Only one starter arrived, even though we ordered two, and no plates or cutlery were provided. The main course was equally disappointing?terrible food quality. Overall, a complete disaster. Will never come back!

Wontons had almost no meat at all. £6.20 for 4 flat crispy nothing basically. My coke was I think £3.50 and tasted like fizzy water then I paid £12 something for some char Sui wok fried noodles. They were tasteless had hardly any meat and the meat it did have was hard fatty tasteless pork seemed completely unseasoned. No wok flavour at all. Felt like a microwave meal. When I complained to the waiter he laughed and I think he charged me £6 instead of £6.20 for the wontons. Will never go back. Complete let down and waste of money.

I don't normally write reviews, but I feel compelled to talk about my experience here a few days ago.
Me and my girlfriend wanted to try this place specifically because they advertise on the front of the restaurant that they make Japanese style soufflé pancakes.
When we arrived, we were coldly greeted by the host who sat us and dropped the menus off, and didn't say another word before disappearing.
We then ordered, a Thai sweet chilli chicken starter for myself, and she ordered chocolate soufflé pancakes for herself. We were then told pancakes would take about 20 minutes to cook. Our parking was set to expire in 45 minutes, so we figured that would work, even with a bit of wiggle room.
10 minutes rolls by, and my food arrives. To be fair, it tasted really nice - chicken was cooked very well and the batter was crispy enough without being overpowering. The garnish of spring onions was a nice pallet cleanser, and the Thai sweet chilli sauce, whilst not technically amazing to prepare, as I suspect it is literally the kind you can get store bought at any Asian shop in the country (such as the one across the road from Xen), it was appropriate for the dish.
I finished my food before she even recieved hers, and it wasn't until 40 minutes rolls around that the host then coldly and unapologetically said they could no longer do the pancakes. This is nothing short of horrendous planning and communication from the restaurant. At what point did they not realise that they could not cook our food, when they had double the alloted time to cook them and still couldn't do it. How after only 40 minutes do you not realise that? We had no choice but to pay and race back to the car to renew our parking for another hour, while my girlfriend went hungry.
The current system of this establishment is unreliable, and the staff have absolutely no regard of their guests. Drastic improvement is needed here.

Never will I order from these again. Spring rolls fried to thier inch of their lives. Late on delivery. Food cold. Main dishes would be better from spar. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE EVER!

Got a delivery of dumplings, a chicken dish, chips and rice. The dumplings weren?t cooked properly, they were cold and part of the pork was still really pink. The chicken wasn?t too warm either. I didn?t open the rice or chips as I was t eating the meat that wasn?t up to temp. When I rang to complain and ask for food to be replaced or a refund I got told the kitchen was closing soon but they could offer me a discount for next time I go. I told the girl that it wasn?t likely that there would be a next time so I?d like a refund. She then decided to argue that the food that comes out of the kitchen is always cooked right and I was basically accused of telling a lie. I didn?t eat any of it after I realised it was cold and told them they could come
Pick up the food and see it?s all there. Finally the girl put the chef on the phone who was extremely argumentative and rude.He told me he was a chef 20 years and never got a complaint ( pretty sure even Ramsey has got complains over the last 20 years so wind your neck in love) I told him I?d like a refund as I was hungry and wanted to get food somewhere else, he told me that the app I was on wouldn?t give the refund back for days so it was basically pointless him giving it. He finally agreed to cancel the order on the app and put down the phone abruptly. I don?t ever write bad reviews and absolutely would have been happy if they sent out a replacement (hot) meal. Instead i got an extremely rude response and pretty much told I?m a liar.

Absolutely disgusting! Xen special soup and chilli beef soup were impossible to eat, beef looked like something that died long time ago, also ordered shredded chilli beef but recived truly disgusting sweet and sour crispy beef with bo beef, just a crispy batter. Beer glass looked like someone has shat in it. Avoid at all cost, waste of time and money. Ruined the evening
P.S we had some noodles packed to take away, so Singapore rice noodles tasted like water and had no meat at all while xen special had plenty of meat bit tasted like washing up liquid ???
