Me and a friend went today and we were really disappointed, the glasses smelt like a wet mop, the food was tasteless and the plates were just really unclean and looked grimy. The sides were also tasteless and boring.Zero atmosphere, maybe this explains why there were hardly any customers when we arrived, a real let down... read full comment

If it was possible to give 0 stars I most definitely would. We visited at peak time on Tuesday evening, before a show at Hall for Cornwall so we expected it to be buzzing, we were the only table in, which should have been a sign to go somewhere else. This used to be THE place to be. It was always pricy but you got a feeling of it being special.Now this is tired. Compared to other places it is now reasonable value with huge portions at a similar price to other restaurants as they put their prices up but Xen hasn't.Grotty menus, truck stop atmosphere, piles and piles... read full comment
