Wonderful room and location?fantastic value for money. Service was good, and the evening food was absolutely amazing. Great parking too. My only moan? Breakfast didn?t quite hit the mark.

We recently had an amazing week long holiday in Cornwall and loved everything - except the food at the Alverton.
Dinner on the first night included undercooked chips and rubbery kale. Breakfast would have been fine for a Travelodge and we pined for breakfast at Driftwood.
The location is amazing with easy access to the whole of Cornwall. Our room in the Courtyard was spacious and very comfortable with a great bathroom. The staff were a pleasure- just need new chefs.

we are local people went for a roast so decided to have the 3 course so had the soup lovely but the roast wasn't it was terrible because I didn't want gravy on mine but still waiting the waitress went past me 3 times said sorry he keeps putting gravy on it so the bowl of veg and my friends was going cold my friend her pork was just the scrap ends of pork which went back mine turned up after like 10 minutes other tables had there's not a problem when it came wasn't hot it was just terrible ,so we didn't eat it and complained said we were happy to pay for the soup but the assistant manager was so rude when we said how are you charging £48 for 3 soup she said she done us a deal and took of some I said why so expencive she said because we have just had one coarse but I said we came for 3 it's not our fault the main is so bad she snatch the bill from my friend in front of others and huffed away then we went and spoke to the manager who was understanding but I think they need to get another chef and the assistant manager needs to go and learn how to be professional and not RUDE never will I go back

I use this hotel as a regular meeting place for business meetings. They are always very supportive, and being in electric wheelchair always accommodating and helpful.

We went here for afternoon tea on bank holiday Monday. It was beautiful. We sat outside, and the grounds are stunning. The food was really good & the local Cornish bubbles were perfect.
We also brought our dog and she was able to be on terrace and also within a space at the bar.
Only fault was there was no tea menu as usually expected with afternoon tea. But nonetheless, really great visit and would recommend.

Despite the claims of being a luxury structure, this hotel seems modest in the services offered, the room, although comfortable, has dark colors that make it dark, the real flaw of the structure is the breakfast. The breakfast has no buffet limiting the choice, poor drinks and commercial food! Likewise, dinner has little choice! The location is good but the rest needs to be reviewed!
