“Very competitive prices and quality of own brands excellent.
Only two tills open and I had to wait behind a family doing a massive monthly shop. However, the assistant was super efficient clearing over 100 items within 90 seconds.
One gripe I had was having to insert £1 deposit to get a trolley. In future I will only use the wheeled baskets.”

“It's really great place to shop you can get most of the items you need and other items you don't really require but you just have to try the items. Staff are very helpful and can find the items you can't find the staff will sort anything out if you can't sort it out . They are very smart polite and very cheerful.”

“Clean and tidy store, plenty of space with wide aisles.
Their own brand ice creams are as good as, if not better than the leading brands. Same for much of their fruit and veg.”

“Having been a Specsavers customer for years and had problems with some varifocals the last two visits plus the complicated prices we thought we would try Asda opticians, what a pleasant experience, the frame prices include everything whether single or varifocal lenses, the only extra was my transitions. Two pairs of varifocals and one varifocal sunglasses all for £260 whereas I had to go to Boots in covid and paid £270 for one pair, it's Asda for us now.”

“Friendly local co-operative with many products at a great price. But please people, read and follow the placed footprints ? and stop getting so close to others during this pandemic! It isn't difficult ? Also one of the members of staff named Wendy is quite rude! ?”

“I used to shop in ASDA all the time but things have turned rather sour since I started going bald. For example, last week I could hear tittering and laughter coming from behind me. On turning around 5 customers were doing bald impressions and pointing. One member of staff seems to find it amusing to whisper the word 'Kojak' every time he walks past and a checkout lady, who shall remain nameless, won't stop staring at my male pattern baldness whilst giggling. It's upsetting. I still give you 5 stars for the quality for your hats.”

“Great little shop and post office. Good fresh produce and bread and pasties better than any l have found. Open long hours and friendly staff. Inevitably not as cheap as the supermarkets but worth the difference for quality and service.Good local eggs and bread available at prices to compare with the supermarkets”
