“This has been our 5th year coming to Cornwall and it's been our 3rd year staying at The Weary Friar, me and my fiance have loved staying at this accommodation, lovely pub, lovely area, the owners and staff are so lovely and welcoming! We enjoyed every minute of it. It was so nice to see familiar faces from the past years we have stayed and also coming in for dinner the previous years.”

“Lovely fresh homemade food. Everything was homemade, including the mash and the chips. Very reasonable prices and friendly atmosphere. My family don't usually finish all their meals, but everything got demolished here, including puddings, that speaks volumes for how lovely the food was. Would highly recommend the Beef Brisket Pie or the Fish pie.”

“This Travelodge is clean but very outdated and really in need of a new design. Rooms clean but outdated. The location is convenient, nestled in the services next to Burger King and Subway, with Greggs just a couple of minutes’ drive away, and it also offers free parking which is a big plus. The real highlight is the staff — Lorna, Gavin, and Michelle on the front desk were excellent, and Sarah, one of the room assistants, was amazing, friendly, and polite. The staff are hard workers, always smiling, and go the extra mile: due to my food intolerances, they even kept a small bag in their fridge overnight — now that’s special. They make the stay feel much warmer and more personal than you’d ever expect from a budget hotel.”
