“From the moment arriving at the Plantation House hotel, it was clear that Richard and his team’s attention to detail was first class - the greeting with tea and cake, personal service to access the rooms, bar service, a private dinner for 12, as we’d booked most of the hotel for a wedding nearby, the breakfast etc etc, all attended to personally by Richard and his amazing team. The best way to end this review is that Richard and his team, more than exceeded the website description of his wonderful hotel - you will not be disappointed if you visit and we will definitely be back. “A very nice, and generous Sunday carvery although the pub itself is a bit tired and scruffy to be honest. Staff always helpful and friendly, large car park too. Sunday seems to attract a lot of old age pensioners it would seem also. I would go there again for a roast. Nearest alternative is the lyneham innVegetarian options: Don't know and don't care”
