Bloody good chippi, one of the best in the nation by far! Decent sized chips and portion. Big fish with batter cooked to perfection, for that crispy but not too crispy texture. Sausages are 'the good ones' with no yucky aftertaste or mushy-greasy texture.

My most recent visit will definately be my last shame this used to be a treat gave it benefit of doubt after a previous visit but has deteriorated since .

The (standard size) fish and chips were very good. 2 portions, 1 mushy peas (bland), 1 curry sauce (bog standard), 1 coffee (good) and 1 cola (flat) at £37.00 is a lot of money for a "sit in" at a chippy. 6 other people were sat down when we arrived and they had all placed their orders but it was a good 10 minutes... read full comment
