Not the experience we hoped for!
Took my mum and 3 kids for a special day out. We had pre booked our afternoon teas including requesting two vegan ones, the staff seemed clueless on arrival but said it was no problem. We had reserved a table yet arrived and was told to just sit where we want. We sat on a sofa and chairs, the cushions were dirty and feathers coming out of the sofa.
We were asked if tea or coffee was wanted; asked for tea which came reasonably quickly but given we had about a 20 minute wait for our afternoon tea, it had gone cold while we waited, we also got left a stack of plates and cutlery, which were not placed out for us.
We started eating our afternoon tea, sandwhiches were nice, scones very dry and the vegan afternoon tea served with just a spread ; no vegan cream which is easily accessible even in Tesco for £1! The vegan cakes were dense and the cake dry!
We were not once approached and asked if we wanted more drinks or hot water! And ended up having to drink water as attempts to get staff were failed!
The table opposite us had issues with it being wobbly and it was corrected by a staff member putting napkins underneath.
5 star location with lacking staff and food! A real shame:
Overall disappointing, not the luxury afternoon tea we had hoped for and not value for money. We also got charged £4.30 for a child?s cup of tea!
We will stick to the Greenbank in Falmouth whose standard are high, nice linen tables and food you cannot fault!!

Location is the only thing the hotel has going for it. Customer service is woeful - I bought a voucher that included overnight stay, breakfast and dinner. The hotel charged me for dinner, then apologised and refunded me, then changed its mind and charged me anyhow. The spa facilities are very tired and if you stay you cannot book them as it is booked out by private members.

We will be visiting again! I could find no fault, they made our stay memorable, for all the right reasons.This is also a dog friendly hotel.Rooms: Large, comfortable, well decorated and very clean and well appointed.Sea view was excellent!!Food & drinks: Food was fantastic, we both enjoyed our meals and the atmosphere. The from the restaurant was not bad either.Noteworthy details: The health centre attached to the hotel had a great pool, well equiped gym and clean and well appointed changing/shower rooms.

Staff are awesome, great views and lovely sunrise, excellent breakfast (pic of view at breakfast), no pics of the best views sorry was too busy looking lol. They had a lovely huge bar dining area with panoramic views out to sea while dining or having a coffee, got a Beer at 1am, nice TV in room with lots of channels and great internet. Just popped in for a coffee with a friend and had a lovely time. The views even on a dull day are spectacular. The coffee was perfect and arrived quickly, served by a lovely, friendly lady. 10 out of 10

This place exceeds expectations, staff are wonderful, dog friendly, beautiful views, really comfy beds, room with a view of the sun rise and sunset, really made to feel special. Love love love this place. Privately owned, some quirky touches and we can't wait to come back. We only live in Perranporth but it felt like we were on holiday ! Excellent, keep up the good work. Had a birthday card from the hotel and chocolates left in my room, cooked my puppy some chicken, what more can you want !!Lisa and Paul

Went today for a light lunch and was not disappointed. Delicious meal, great cocktails and charming service. We visited for Champagne afternoon tea, the sea views were stunning, the hotel was immaculate and the service by the Staff especially by Sam who served our tea was exceptional.The whole experience was magical and is highly recommended, we will definitely be back, especially for a re-match in the games room!!!!Nearby activities: Very dog friendlyWalkability: Great views and costal path walksFood & drinks: Afternoon tea was brilliant

Absolutely appalling service on Sunday when we took friends to dinner, main course was okay, had to get pudding menus ourselves and after 50 minutes the table had not being cleared or our order taken so we left.I put in a complaint when we got home but have had no response, just another institution that like the money but ackt offer the service to go with it.

Perfect location with the most beautiful view you could ever see. The lobby bar is spacious and newly renovated. The spa ???? treatment were fabulous, the indoor pool is small , however enough for a small parties, small jacuzzi inside the swimming pool area.Food & drinks: Food is good at the lobby bar, nice afternoon tea selection with fabulous views.

We can't believe this is only a 3-star hotel! It was absolutely gorgeous! Everything very clean and beautifully decorated. Absolutely stunning view out to sea. All members of staff we interacted with were so friendly. We had an afternoon tea, looking out to sea, and felt like we were in heaven! Also highly recommend a massage. Lovely spa area with a good selection of services. We'll definitely be back!
