“We stayed here 3 nights to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Everything about the hotel was perfect. The room with stunning harbour views, the complimentary gin and tonic, the greeting card and chocolates in our room on arrival, the meals, the service, even the lift. All the staff were professional, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.”

“We had a lovely stay at the Old Quay House. The room was spacious and clean with all the amenities you need. A wonderful view of the estuary from the room and the balcony. The staff at the hotel were extremely good at both dinner and breakfast. The food was lovely and the restaurant perfectly located with views over the estuary. The location of the hotel is perfect in the centre of the town, although I would advise following the hotel's advice to drop your bags off on the way to the car park so save dragging them all the way through the town! Plenty of places to eat and drink if you didn't want to eat in the hotel but we did as it was a special occasion for us. I can highly recommend this hotel and as we live not far away I expect we will be back again in the not too distant future.”

“Beautifully designed and decorated to a high standard. The bathrooms and kitchen are fantastically equipped. Fabulous view from the deck over the entrance to the harbour Easy access to the two pubs, the shops and the regular ferry for access to Fowey. Also well located for the Coastal Path. Lost a star because it is not quite as clean as it has been on previous visits.”

“Traditional basic and very friendly pub. Limited range of beers, but well kept. Food is basic pub grub but really quite good. It’s the sort of place that once you’re sat down with a pint, you just feel at home. Very warm and friendly mix of locals and visitors. Ideal rest at the end of a long, tough, coast path walk.”
