Whilst we visited here on a day out, we had tge roast dinner meals. It was nice but could have been hotter and the roast potatoes were over done.
The lady on the bar was very good, friendly and considering she was on her own managed really well.

Good central location but not too busy. The rooms above the pub are simple and comfortable. We didn?t find it to be noisy above the pub which was good. Shared bathroom but we had no issue. Breakfast was simple and tasty, the people were friendly.

I recently visited Jacobs Ladder Inn in Falmouth, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. When I asked the staff to change my drink because it tasted off, they were very unhelpful and seemed reluctant to assist me. After some back and forth, they finally agreed to replace my drink with another pint, but to my surprise, they charged me for a half instead. This lack of customer service really left a bad impression. I expected better from a place in such a popular location. I won't be returning anytime soon.

Sunday roast was good great flavour and decent portions. As it was quiet. I thought the meat could of been a little warmer. Thanks to the gravy. It made a difference..Great service and great staff throughout.

A vibrant, busy authentic local town pub within walking distance of all the great things Falmouth has to offer. What you see is what you get and that is more than good enough for a short break in such a lovely area. Comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated accommodation. Friendly and helpful staff. Good cooked breakfast. Internet and TV reception frequently sketchy. Parking is definitely an issue as the pub is in a densely populated residential area where on- street parking is at a premium. We were able to park a five-minute walk away on a main road. Not a problem but just take it into account. If we're in the area we'd definitely stay again and also recommend it to friends.

Fantastic place.
Recommended try the jacobs ladder steps up to the pub, then enjoy a pint relaxed by the open fire.

Location, lost a star due to 111 stairs, which prevents older folk climbing them from town.
However, that aside, the bar ,is friendly, and has great rooms, to rent out.
Great food, great beer and wine selection, plus football venue, or pool available.
It's dog friendly and has entertainment most nights. Taxi costs £3.80. normally from town.
It's close to buses, local and long distances, by National Express.
