Whilst we visited here on a day out, we had tge roast dinner meals. It was nice but could have been hotter and the roast potatoes were over done. The lady on the bar was very good, friendly and considering she was on her own managed really well.

Good central location but not too busy. The rooms above the pub are simple and comfortable. We didn’t find it to be noisy above the pub which was good. Shared bathroom but we had no issue. Breakfast was simple and tasty, the people were friendly.
