Old quaint old pub. Looks lovely but poor service. Booked through Hotels.com but they couldn’t find booking even when I showed the confirmation. Taken to room.

We went with the kids for a few drinks and some bar snacks and we were really impressed with the hospitality and service from Simon. A lovely pub that we will book in to and stay over for a night next year so we can sample the rooms and the food too. Thanks Simon, take care.
The Tree is a former Manor House and Coaching Inn dating back to the C13th: set around a charming courtyard full of flowers and sunshine. We offer also offer an historic Tudor era bar, a public bar with games and a restaurant decked with a beam from a Spanish galleon.
