“We visited The new inn on a rainy Thursday night, the pub was warm and welcoming with a darts team and skittles being played in the lower bar. We ordered the Cajun chicken and beef curry both of which were excellent, good value for money and very generous portions! All the staff are welcoming and efficient and the landlord Chris has a wealth of knowledge to share on local beverages and things to do in the area extremely helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back!”

“We went with the kids for a few drinks and some bar snacks and we were really impressed with the hospitality and service from Simon. A lovely pub that we will book in to and stay over for a night next year so we can sample the rooms and the food too. Thanks Simon, take care.”

“This is a proper ‘Old School’ pub, I mean that in the best possible way. We didn’t eat there but the food looked and smelled superb. We popped in for drinks a few times and it was just a nice place to be. Very good bar staff too.”
