With so many local places closed down for the winter it was a relief to find a pub open and serving food. It was a bonus to find an initiative in place offering reduced food on a Thursday, though I don’t know how long this initiative will be running for. Don't have the stew. No gravy or liquid and the meat was tough. Masb was cold. When we asked for gravy, they served a tepid brown water. Adding a photo. Dark gravy was with a different meal. Light brown was the tepid brown water I was talking about. This is the only bad review I have ever had to write. Avoid at all costs.

My husband and I were accompanied by our dog here in September 2023 to celebrate our wedding anniversary and my birthday. We both had steak, which was one of the best we have eaten, followed by desert and coffee and a couple of glasses of prosecco.
