I am so sick of argos. They lie. And they're the ONLY store that doesn't take faulty products back. You ALWAYS have to call manufacturer if there's an issue! Before i bought my watch i asked can i just bring it back in if it doesnt work, (2nd watch that ive bought from this argos and hasnt worked!) And she said yes, its only bigger brands like apple or Samsung you can't. So I bought it. Brought it back as it doesn't count my steps low and behold I have to call sekonda. They won't take it back. I will never EVER buy anything electrical from argos again. Not worth it. Go currys that have excellent customer service and can RETURN broken things

Staff were two busy chatting to help, eventually I got help to use the screens after the two assistants rolled the eyes at each other. I tried to explain that the system would not recognise my name and needed some help, which the young girl explained to me that I was doing it wrong, she spoke to me rudely and made me feel silly infront of other customers. One customer came over to me to try and help and he couldnt do it, he even commented on how rude the two assistants were and they were more interested in chatting to the friends that had come in. I eventually had to ask her again to come and help, which she did. Would not return to Argos in Winsford again.

If you have a issue with a Item don't take it back to Winsford you will have a wasted journey.
I went in to exchange a faulty item which I had been told by customer services to bring it in to branch for a refund or a exchange, I was happy with the exchange option as I need the item.
Initially spoke to one off the team on the till who was nice and polite and then the so called store manager MEL got her self involved in the transaction and tried everything in her power to not help ( It was like she was on commision to reject returns) Very rude from the start and it turns out I was just out off my 30 days since purchasing the item which has been faulty since day one. Tried explaining that customer services had sent me to exchange and kept persistantly trying to fob me off to the manufacturer.
I drove 15 miles to sort it out and completely wasted my time.
Rang customer services immediately outside and they couldn't off been more helpful, Apologised on behalf off the branch and have issued a collection for the faulty item from my address and offered a full refund, The only reason why they sent me into branch was becouse they had no stock for delivery and I didn't really want a refund.
This review is just to save others wasting there time taking faulty goods back to the winsford branch as you will be completely wasting your time either choose another outlet or go through customer services.

Terrible service the staff wanted to shut so wouldn?t help me and cancelled my order very terrible customer service I got in there 10 minutes before closing but they to busy yapping I would use a different Argos if you can

Brought back a item that was faulty and didn't work after 24 hours of purchase Winsford branch. A blink doorbell that wouldn't record to usb. Because the serial numbers didn't match we were told they couldn't give us a refund nor would they assist us. They basically were implying that it had been swapped.
After ringing blink the company of the doorbell they assisted us and sorted the issue out with the firmware.
I then got incontact with argos on the phone and they explained that this does happen, that serial numbers can be different and that the item should have been refunded as we had 30 days.
However I'm discusted as we felt that we were being accused of swapping parts to get a refund.
This is a warning to anyone who may be buying large electrical items and the serial number doesn't match up, you will be out of pocket as they point blank refused to issue a refund for a product that wasn't working as it should and being humiliated infront of a busy store.

Absolutely disgraceful customer service from Pam. I was spoken to in the most patronising, degrading manner when I had asked for a refund of a faulty item. Judging by the reviews it seems like Pam has treated many customers in this unacceptable manner. I'm surprised Argos have kept vile Pam on, when all the feedback regarding her speaks for itself.
I've heard from many locals that this store is horrendous and customer service is rude. I regret ever coming here, please save your time and money and go elsewhere. Avoid this store!

I want to mention how much I appreciated Jordan's help yesterday! I have been trying to get a refund sorted for 16 days after I cancelled an item as i couldn't get to the store to pick it up. I had been passed around by customer service, financial services, the resolution team, hung up on, never contacted when they said they would, they lied saying they had given me a refund and spent... the list goes on.I walked in to the winsford branch yesterday and Jordan did the work of all these useless people and sorted everything out within about 3 minutes! He even told me they had the product I wanted, in store. This has been driving me mad for over 2 weeks and I can't tell you how happy I am to have this resolved. It's so much better to talk to someone in person and I am very grateful to Jordan for getting rid of my stress this Christmas.

I had to return a DAB+ radio, Bush DS869C. The lady listened to my reason for returning it (The screen had stopped working). She plugged it in to check it, confirmed the issue and replaced it. No problem.

Took back a faulty kettle that cut off when half boiled. The staff refused and asked me to prove it was faulty. They even plugged it into their kitchen to boil it to try and prove me wrong. Never been so insulted by half brained people.
