“Located in pedestrianised area, however there is a large undercover car park in the nearby shopping mall. Service in the bank has got much more friendly and knowledge in recent years (one could say post 2008.) An extensive automated service centre for payment and deposits etc. However there is still the traditional counters where a staff member will be happy to serve.also a couple of ATM's just outside of the main doors. There are a number of rooms where you can conduct your business with the bank in privacy. Can be extremely busy at certain points in the day.”

“This has been my main bank since an argument with Natwest in 1978. (That was an I'll take my overdraft elsewhere, thank you moment!) They have been more than helpful at all times since then, up to and including helping when my parents died. I treated it as an old style bank and just asked for an interview for some advice. I was seen by one of the senior management who gave me a list of suitable solicitors and helped sort out all the paperwork appertaining to the accounts held by my father (he died latest). Afterwards, I was given excellent advice on how to invest any spare money I had, due to various things. This extended to helping with cashing this inwhen buying our pub. They advised us against this quite strongly, but then helped as much as possible. A superb service all round. To date, HSBC have impressed me in that they still try to treat customers like real humans (whatever they may think in private!)”

“I love this branch of Sainsburys and always do my weekly Saturday shop here. I find that it is always well stocked, and that the staff are firendly and go out of their way to help and check on stock. I especially like shopping here as I don't find it as big as some of the other supermarkets, and so it is much more accessible when I have my elderly grandmother in tow. The branch also has fantastic Mother and Baby parking just outside the store and a really lovely cafe. My favourite place to supermarket shop”
