“The place is one of your traditional small, sticky-floored, narrow isle Aldi’s, but has the most consistently happy & helpful self-checkout staff on hand than any other Aldi I’ve been too.
Well done guys.”

“Staff are great, brilliant value for money, plenty of offers but the only thing that let's it down is that the store looks a bit dated. Great store and they are doing well with social distancing too”

“Iceland is the only one supermarket in the city. Which provides a service to the customers. I can only shop there for my delivery. Most prices are expensive on food which is not always affordable. So I have to buy what I can afford. Could do with a bit more TLC.”

“Excellent staff members. Always working above and beyond what should be expected of them, especially after the impact covid has had. I had a very positive experience with Ste when I had made a mistake with my collection times.”

“I was quite surprised to learn that the Co‑op on Balfour Street recently experienced an incident where a vehicle drove into the front entrance. While this was undoubtedly an unfortunate event, it has inadvertently introduced what could be humorously described as a “drive-thru” service — albeit not in the conventional sense. It is unfortunate that such a feature isn’t located in a more strategic position, such as near an expressway or motorway, where it might better serve customers and potentially increase sales.

The Co‑op has long been a convenient and reliable establishment for the local community, offering a good range of essential products and friendly service. Although occasional challenges with stock availability have been noted during peak periods, these are understandable given the size and nature of the store.

Overall, the Co‑op remains a valuable asset to the area, and I look forward to visiting and using the new and improved “drive-thru” service once the store reopens”

“This ASDA location was BIG! It looks like a Super Walmart inside. I found more of the hot sauce, tubs if Cadbury and other tempting items. Luckily, I was able to resist and got what I really wanted/needed. I'd be in trouble living nearby because I would probably come daily just to refill my Cadbury stash! The store is well lit and laid out in such a way that you should be able to find what you ate looking for. They have signs above each aisles lie most grocery stores do. I like that the employees are friendly and helpful. You can check out at the self-check out lanes, or have an employee ring you up. It was a great shopping experience here at this bigger ASDA. I'd definitely return!”
