Faded glories. That’s my impression. Lovely big mansion which retains much of the original architectural touches but the rooms are beginning to look like they need a makeover. Stopped here thanks to a christmas Groupon present. The hotel is easy to find with Chester about 30 mins away. We got the Groupon room. Needs an update to the decor. We didn't eat here, we decided to try a local pub. Nothing against the Hotel. We just fancied popping out for tea. The grounds look amazing, and we both said... read full comment
