Grocery Stores in Northwich, Cheshire

“Good place to park. I think there is limited time here though, not sure, might be 2 or 3 hours.
Shop is always clean, produce is good quality. Meat is too expensive for me, so I just buy when on special offer. Labelling was very bad a few weeks ago, but now it is a lot clearer when a product is reduced.
Staff are lovely here and most things are priced properly and the product is actually with the label, not like a lot of stores!! I did however move some aerial liquid as the larger product had a cheaper price and when you look at the small print, ( which people don't have time to do), they were in the wrong place! But I do understand that an odd mistake can be made.
If you have a waitrose card, and I add, you Must have an email address to get one, a customer of mine has shopped for years here and he cannot have one, he is 91 and does not want to have an email address, so I wrote to Waitrose and they gave him a £10 voucher as compensation! But said he cannot have a card. I might add, Tesco will give you a card and send coupons to your home address, so it's your choice lol.”

“What can you say shopping here is a no brainer great parking, good pricing, however stocks on shelves can be quite low at times and with staff trying to fill up fixtures with large trolleys getting around can sometimes be a problem.”

“06/02/24 - very very helpful delivery driver today! Currently on crutches recovering from a broken ankle and I’d left a message to call me when here and I’d get someone to come down.Driver called so I advised main door was open and to leave downstairs, I’d ask my son to come down.The driver actually brought all the bags upstairs to outside my door! And…even wished me well with my ankle!!Very helpful and friendly, very much appreciated!Kerry”

“Lidl is an amazing supermarket as it is so cheap the only thing that i would be better is that it has.all the things you need as somtimes you might find you go to another shop trying to find the things you cant find”

“They have a good choice of products, quite a big market, there's a big parking lot accessible via the elevator straight from the shop, they got free restrooms and there's a food court, and they got my favourite ketchup available
Quite a nice place compared to other markets and has good location”

“Good to have a medium sized store only half a mile away from Bispham village. Like the fresh fruit and veg, but when will they stop using plastic bags. Prices a little high but sell most things you need, especially stuff Lidl and Aldi won't have.”

“Our local "go-to" shop which stocks all the necessary essentials. It's really convenient for me, especially before 9.00pm when I find I need something urgently. I have used this mini supermarket for years and if the owners haven't got what I'm looking for, they go out of their way to get it for me the next day. Nothing is too much trouble for them.”

“Lovely place. Lots of variety with eye-catching well displayed produce to choose from. There are so many good priced items to please the eye. Food, some outdoor and garden items. home and hardware, toys and gifts, stationery, and clothing to name but a few. A nice clean cafe with a new (to me) onscreen ordering system. Once I got my head around the screen. It was swift and actually worked. There were no queues. Plus another bonus, my grand daughter had a free meal.My toasted cheese and spring onion was the best!”

“Nice little shop. It has all of the essentials. Great customer service plus they have local produce such as eggs from local farm and bread. Card payments for over £5 only, there is cash machine inside but it charges for cash withdraws.”

“Decent selection for a small shop and is always very clean. It's perfect for getting things that you ran out of, eg milk, chicken, toothpaste, bread etc.Parking isn't the best though. There's plenty of spaces, but the parking is shared with all the shops nearby, so it's always packed full of cars. Very difficult to park during busy hours 4-6pm etc”

“Hartford Co-op store has such friendly staff and so community minded. The store has supporting local charities to collect food waste for food banks during covid-19 : mid Cheshire Food bank & Moulton Community Food Hub supporting pensioners snd families in need. Theyve also donated sandwiches,pastries,cakes to feed NHS staff on the night shift at Northwich ambulance station :)”

“Good small shop.Has a post office section that can get busy.Things can be incorrectly priced on the shelf so be careful.Also cash machine outside the shop may charge for withdrawals.”

“Great little co-op, good prices and a wide range of products, the staff alwsys have a smile and a friendly face and it's a great atmosphere and very easy to either run in and quickly grab something or to spend some time shopping around!The bakery goods are fresh and very nice and also quite cheap for how nice they are!”

“I came in to get some milk and bits tonight and as usual I get more than I came in for. The young lady who served me made conversation and realised how much I had got and I am pregnant. I went to get the bag after paying and she came round and carried my bag to my car for me. THANK YOU SO MUCH you are an asset to your company and made me so happy. Your bosses should be proud of you.
